Is someone having trouble with undestanding why a fraction such as 4/4 equals 1? What seems like common sense to us may be baffling to a student. That's why I created this anchor chart. I used it in some guided math groups and I've posted it in the classroom. It serves as a reminder of this concept and it seems to help. Please feel free to copy this, enlarge it, and use it in your classroom or tutoring sessions.
